A relaxing escape to the French countryside… turns into a deadly mystery.
When retired detective Dan Armstrong moves to a peaceful Provençal village, he’s looking forward to a quiet life surrounded by sun-drenched vineyards, local markets, and the simple pleasures of the South of France. But when a local winemaker is found dead, what appears to be an accident soon reveals itself to be something far more sinister. With the help of his loyal dog, Oscar , Dan is drawn into a twisting investigation filled with secrets, lies, and long-buried tensions within the close-knit French village. As he digs deeper, he uncovers hidden rivalries among vineyard owners, dangerous relationships behind closed doors, and a truth someone will do anything to protect. Nothing is as idyllic as it seems, because in a village this quiet, everyone is hiding something.
